To support all of the activity involved in changing the contents carried by the web site, we have developed a Content Management System (or CMS). This system, which we call Ingate.Builder, makes it possible to alter many aspects of the Web site without requiring technical support.

WHAT IS INGATE.BUILDER?

Ingate.Builder supports the development and evolution of the site from content management to design management. It defines graphic representations, texts, table, references, and other site components without placing a lot of technical requirements on the user.

The core element of the site is a page. Our CMS is used to create and delete pages, change their contents, and link pages by references. The information in the site pages can be formatted as a text, image, or table.

Ingate.Builder provides a specialized editor for each of these elements that is as easy to use as any program typically employed by the office professionals.

The Ingate editors are as follows:

• Visual Text Marking Editor: useful for text editing and automatic text mark up. The use of our editor provides immediate results without great effort. You can use it to type, delete, and edit text, and interactively markup and preview pages before publishing. After that, the edited page is immediately available on the Web site with a click of a button.
• Graphic Editor: used for image management. The editor copies images from the user's computer to the web server, inserts them into the site, refers to them, and shifts images in the site catalogues. As the display of graphic information is an integral part of modern browsers, it can be modified within the editor in your browser before being available on the site.
• Table Editor: a core element of the table is a cell containing data. This editor makes it possible to add, delete, unify, divide, and fill cells constituting a table. Filling in the cell can be carried out with the help of the graphic and visual text marking editors described above. The editor allows previewing a table and permits further changes before publication on the site.
• Visual Style Mark Up Editor: the use of mark-up styles enables quick changes to the appearance of many page elements, but at the same time requires special knowledge. To facilitate the style creation for non-professionals, the Visual Style Mark Up Editor is embedded into Ingate.Builder. It provides a user friendly interface for formatting web pages storing a set of marking modes under a unique profile name.
• Specialized Visual Page Editor: the editor allows creating, editing, or removing a site page, and collecting onto one page texts, tables and images prepared in editors described above. While editing, it is possible to set each element on a site page, preview it, and confirm its being available on the site. You need no HTML knowledge to form a web page, it is all done by Ingate.Builder.
  The information on the page can be chosen from the list of elements edited in any of the visual editors. With repeated data editing, all the necessary changes will be automatically made after saving the new data.

The use of Ingate visual editors makes it possible to get top-quality results immediately. Once the Web site is available, anyone can manage the site content. The only thing required is to learn how to use the Ingate.Builder visual editors.
