WHAT IS INGATE.STATISTICS?

Ingate.Statistics is a system used for collecting, processing, and mapping data regarding the number of visitors to a website, their point of entry, the pages visited and duration of those visits. The system analyses the site rating among other sites with the same subject and provides information on the most popular site pages and the ease of navigation.

HOW DOES INGATE.STATISTICS WORK?

In collecting site statistical data we use widely-known statistical data collection systems (e.g., Hotlog and Spylog), and our proprietary technology.

Ingate.Statistics works in the same fashion as the non-proprietary systems but possesses the following advantages:

• The system was designed to permit integration with the specific requirements of any Internet project.
• Ingate.Statistics provides the highest speed and reliability of its functioning, since the data-collecting module operates on the same server on which the Web site is located.

The system consists of two modules: the data collection module on the web server, and our proprietary data processing module operating on our own server.

Ingate.Statistics provides the following information:

• The number of visitors entering via search engines by each key phrase
• The time spent by visitors on each site page
• Tracking and analysis of the Web site users’ paths through the site, considering their point of entry
• Indices designed to determine the site rating and presented in tables, diagrams, and graphs
• XML-formatted data mapping may be exported for additional processing
• Automatic daily reporting on the site status given in the Microsoft Office documentation
• Visitors divided into certain target-groups
• The overall number of site visitors
